Owego Man Charged with Assault After Dispute

Bob Joseph/WNBF News [file][/caption]Authorities say a Tioga County man faces charges following a reported domestic incident.

Investigators say 47-year-old David Sitar of Deerfield Drive in the town of Owego was arrested after the dispute.

According to the Tioga County Sheriff's Office, Sitar was charged with third-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child.

Sitar was arraigned before a Village of Owego judge. He was released on his own recognizance.
