Owego Crash Slows Traffic on Route 17

Witnesses report traffic reduced to a single lane both east and westbound on Route 17 over Marshland Road in the Owego area.

Tioga County emergency responders were called to the scene of a vehicle into or across the median in the eastbound direction shortly before 6:30 a.m.

Motorists are encouraged to find alternate routes to avoid delays and give emergency crews room to operate.  Traffic can detour to Route 434 or 17C.
