Otsego County Traffic Stop Results in Multiple Charges

New York State Police in Otsego County say they arrested two Madison County men October 8 for drug possession and driving without a required vehicle ignition interlock device following a simple traffic stop.

Troopers say they pulled over a vehicle on Route 20 in Richfield Springs and found 32 year old Neil Shepard of Hamilton was in illegal possession of three hydrocodone pills and marijuana.

Officials say they also discovered 35 year old William Nutley, also of Hamilton was driving with a suspended license and had a prior drunk driving arrest.

Troopers say they noticed Nutley was driving without the required interlock device.

Both posted bail and were released to appear in court at a later date.
