An Oneonta man is facing charges in two separate incidents in the Town of Morris and the Town of Oneonta.

New York State Police say they arrested 28 year old Edward Cuevas July 6 and charged him with felony burglary and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

Investigators say Cuevas is accused of unlawfully entering a home in Morris July 5, brandishing a handgun and threatening the occupant in front of two children.

Authorities say they found a domestic incident had also happened earlier in the day in the Town of Oneonta.  In that investigation, Cuevas is charged with felony criminal mischief and misdemeanor counts of criminal obstruction of breathing or circulation, unlawful imprisonment and endangering the welfare of a child, felony criminal possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor criminal possession of marijuana.

He was sent to the Otsego County Jail.
