Oktoberfest Celebration Filled With Great Music and Delicious Food

Townsquare Media and Mountain Top Grove teamed up for an Oktoberfest Celebration on Saturday.  John Stevens and Doubleshot provided live music throughout the afternoon.  Those who attended danced and clapped their hands to the music to help keep warm with temperatures in the upper 40's and 50's.

Mountain Top Grove served up a menu of delicious German cuisine.  The menu included Bratwurst, Kielbasi, Sauerbraten, Hot German Potato Salad, Pierogi and Konisberger Klopse.  In addition Mountain Top Grove's favorites of Steamed Clams, Chowder and Hamburgers and Hot Dogs were popular items, too.

Contestants competed for "Best Costume" honors and for prizes in a pair of "Beer Stein Holding" contests.  Souvenirs and other Oktoberfest memorabilia were available as well.
