NYSEG Donates Hundreds of Gifts for Children

The Family and Children’s Society in Johnson City is thanking New York State Electric and Gas employees for collecting gifts for children that receive counseling services from the agency.

Officials say NYSEG donated Christmas gifts for over 100 children.

Five volunteers from the National Guard and Family and Children’s Society staff unloaded hundreds of presents at the Society offices on Riverside Drive that will help dozens of children enjoy their holiday in spite of dealing with various challenges.

The Family and Children’s Society provides assistance, care and counseling for people who face challenges due to troubling circumstances and strives to strengthen and support individuals and healthy relationships.
