North Norwich Man Accused of Trying to Run Over Another Man

Chenango County Sheriff’s officials say a North Norwich man is facing a number of charges after allegedly driving a pickup truck onto a lawn in an attempt to intentionally hit another man while three children were playing in the yard.

After the first try at running over the victim, 42 year old Terry Bartlett then allegedly drove into the road in another attempt to hit the man.

Bartlett is charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated, reckless endangerment and endangering the welfare of a child.

Bartlett was sent to the Chenango County Jail on $2,000 bail.
