Night Ranger put on a classic performance to cap opening night at the 2013 Spiediefest and Balloon Rally.   A large crowd turned out on a pleasant evening to rock to the sounds of Night Ranger, a group that has been around for over 30 years.  The band proved they had not lost a beat as they thrilled the crowd with their own music like their biggest hit "Sister Christian" and the music of other Classic Rock Greats.

The weather threatened in the late afternoon but skies cleared to provide a beautiful night.  Veterans and active military personnel were honored in opening ceremonies.  Balloons were still the favorite of many and a number were on display for the night glow at the north end of the Park.

There will be plenty of activities throughout the day tomorrow including an autograph session with former New York Yankee outfielder Roy White from 11-2.  Spiediefest Buttons are required for all autograph sessions and concerts.  One of the top names in Country Music will perform in a scheduled 5 PM concert.  Leann Rimes is this year's featured entertainer.  She has won two Grammy Awards, 12 Billboard Music Awards and has sold over 20 million records.
