Motorcyclist Charged with Speeding in Delaware Co.

A Long Island man is to appear in a Delaware County Court after Sheriff’s Deputies arrested him for speeding and reckless driving on State Highway 30 in the Town of Colchester.

Deputies say they clocked 35 year old Anthony Mcnammee of Suffolk County riding a motorcycle at a speed of 127 miles an hour in a posted 55 mile per hour zone at 6:41 p.m. August 7.

In addition to reckless driving and speed not reasonable, Mcnammee is charged with speeding in excess of the posted 55 miler per hour zone and operating out of class.

Mcnammee posted $500 bail and was ordered to appear in Town of Colchester Court.
