*UPDATE* Woman Charge in First Ward, Binghamton Stabbing
A Binghamton man was wounded in the second stabbing incident in the city in the span of about 12 hours.
Police were called to a two-unit apartment house at Titchener Place in the First Ward around 8:30 a.m. October 30.
27 year old Alease Downey of Binghamton is being held on an assault charge.
Investigators say 32 the man apparently was stabbed once. He had a wound to an arm that extended to his torso, causing a significant loss of blood.
The man was taken to Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City by the Binghamton Fire Department ambulance.
Police say the attack happened during a domestic dispute in a second-floor apartment on Clinton Street.
The man was later released after treatment at the hospital.
