Police are seeking suspects in connection with the shooting of a man in West Corners.

Authorities say 50-year-old Timothy Mancini was being treated for gunshot wounds at Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City.

Investigators say Mancini was shot near 112 Carl Street, about two blocks east of Union Center Maine Highway.

According to state police, the shooting was reported at 3:58 p.m. Saturday. Several troopers were assisted by Broome County sheriff's deputies in the area of the incident.

Police say Mancini was shot after an altercation. Four men were taken into custody near the shooting scene. They were questioned by investigators and then released.

Police have not released the names of possible suspects in connection with the attack on Mancini. They also have not revealed how many people were involved in the altercation that preceded the shooting.
