A 24-year-old man has been accused of stealing jewelry and electronics equipment from an apartment on Endicott's North Side.

Authorities say Jorden Gumediiy was charged with second-degree burglary, a felony.

Investigators say Gumediiy, who has no permanent address, is suspected of illegally entering an apartment in the 300 block of Squires Avenue on October 8.

Police say the burglar stole a lap top computer, a digital camera and some jewelry. The electronics equipment was recovered.

Gumediiy was arraigned in Endicott village court and sent to Broome County Jail without bail.
