Man Accused of Poisoning Cats
An Otsego County resident is accused of poisoning their cats, making them so sick they had to be put to sleep.
New York State Police in Oneonta say it’s believed 52 year old Antonio Fiorino of Worcester gave a woman’s two cats antifreeze. The cats became very sick on April 9 and had to be euthanized.
He’s charged with two counts of overdriving, torturing and injuring animals.
State Police say Fiorino was arrested on April 18 and released after posting $500 bail.
He’s been ordered to appear in Worcester Town Court next month.
