Man Accused of Attacking Woman in Endwell Fight

An Endicott man was sent to jail after he was arrested in connection with a disturbance at an Endwell home.

Authorities say 48-year-old Anthony Pierce was charged with third-degree assault following the dispute with a woman.

According to state police, Pierce is accused of punching the woman several times, causing a laceration on her face.

Troopers arrested Pierce at about 10:30 p.m. Sunday.

Pierce was arraigned in Union town court and remanded to Broome County Jail on $500 bail.

Police say an order of protection was issued against Pierce.
