The Binghamton Broadcasters Association honored a number of industry greats at their reunion held at the DoubleTree by Hilton.  In the afternoon the group inducted new members into the Binghamton Broadcasters Hall of Fame.  WNBF's Barb Mack and her father Bill Mack were among the honorees.  Bill Mack was the host of the area's first polka show on radio and daughter Barb joined her dad on the air and took over the show when he retired.  Other inductees include: WBNG TV General Manager and long-time news anchor Greg Catlin;  Channel 34 executive Phil Marella; Hank Sommers, account executive and on-air host at several area radio stations and Bil Jaker, veteran host at WSKG-TV.

Over 170 current and former broadcasters and their families attended the reunion.  The "Dean of Broadcasting" Bill Parker received a standing ovation with his introduction and the acknowledgement of his induction this summer into the New York State Broadcasters Association.

Numerous television personalities attended including several who returned to the area to honor Greg Catlin's Hall of Fame induction. News Director Kerry Donovan (also WNBF personality), news anchor Jim Mathews and sports anchor Mitch Gross returned to the area for the event.  Former WICZ and current WABC, New York sports anchor Rob Powers also attended the reunion.
