90 years ago, the Syracuse Diocese saw a need in Binghamton for a hospital and improved medical care. They created Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. The Daughters of Charity were called on by the Bishop to bring a vision of hope, healing and faith in God's call to help serve the sick, poor, and weak.

From the hospital setting has emerged a large network of services to help the community.  Lourdes offers mobile breast cancer exams with their Mission in Motion service. They provide many needy individuals and families with low-cost or free health care. Lourdes has branches of medical facilities and offices all around the region enabling people to get quick and in many cases life-saving health care.

Lourdes and the people of Lourdes are thankful for their calling rooted in the healing ministry of Jesus Christ.

Congratulations to the entire staff at Lourdes!
