Littering in Walton Leads to DWI Arrest

A Walton man has learned it might be a good idea not to do something bad if you are driving drunk.

Littering has led to the arrest of 49 year old Bruce Mostert on a felony drunk driving charge.

Delaware County Sheriff's officials say they got a 911 call reporting a man driving to Walton who may be intoxicated.

Deputies say they stopped Mostert after they observed him throwing litter out of his car window.

He's been ordered to appear in Walton Town Court at a later date.
