Johnson City Woman Accused of Forging Prescription
An alert pharmacist has halted an alleged attempt by a Johnson City woman to illegally get the pain medication, Oxycodone.
Broome County Sheriff’s officials say 31 year old Ryan Neff is accused of trying to pass a forged prescription at a pharmacy in the Town of Chenango in March.
Deputies say the pharmacist realized the prescription was forged and refused to fill it.
Following a short investigation, Neff was arrested on a felony count of criminal possession of a forged instrument.
She’s been ordered to appear in Broome County Court at a later date.
