Johnson City Sex Offender is Being Sought

Johnson City Police are trying to find a low-level sex offender who has failed to comply with the New York State Sex Offender Registry requirements.

42 year old Daniel Bishop is a level one sex offender who police say they believed to have moved and could be in Johnson City or the West Side of Binghamton and may be staying in wooded or discreet areas.

Police say a felony arrest warrant has been issued.

Bishop is white, standing about five feet, 11 inches tall, weighing 155 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes.  He is believed to have short or buzzed hair and may be unshaven.

Level one sex offenders are categorized as at low risk of repeat offense but are required by law to report any change of address within 10 days of moving and are required to provide an updated photograph every three years.
