Johnson City Salon Employees Are Accused of Swiping Customers Wallet

Bob Joseph/WNBF News

Two Johnson City hair salon employees are accused of stealing over three thousand dollars from a customer who forgot her wallet at the business.

Manager of Signore Signori hair salon at the Oakdale Mall, 39 year old Christy Wagstaff of Chenango forks and 43 year old Florence Green of Conklin are accused of stealing the customer’s wallet containing $3,150 in cash and gift cards.

Both are charged with felony grand larceny.

Johnson City Police say the customer had been back-to-school shopping with her child when she inadvertently left her wallet behind after paying her salon bill.

Both Wagstaff, who identified herself to police as the salon manager, and Green were released following their arraignment to await further court action.
