Johnson City Murder Suspect Arraigned

A Johnson City man has appeared in Broome County Court for arraignment on charges in connection with the death of a woman who lived in his apartment house.

43-year-old Christopher Davis was arraigned Wednesday on charges of first-degree murder, second-degree murder and first-degree robbery.

Investigators say Davis is suspected of killing 50-year-old Patricia LaCaprara in her Brown Street apartment.

The woman's body was discovered on July 8.

LaCaprara's death was determined to have been the result of traumatic head injuries.

Police believe Davis killed his neighbor while he was burglarizing her apartment.
