A Johnson City man is accused of hitting a pedestrian over the weekend and then leaving the scene.

26-year-old Abedallah Almashni is charged with felony reckless endangerment and misdemeanor leaving the scene of an accident.  He was also ticketed for several traffic infractions.

Village Police say the man is accused of driving toward a woman who was crossing the street on Endicott Avenue, hitting her, then driving off.  The incident happened on Saturday.

The woman was treated at Wilson Medical Center for hip and leg injuries.  Almashni was sent to the Broome County Jail.
