Students in the Vestal School District continue their willingness to help others in creative ways, with their latest fund raiser, which involves collecting cereal donations.

The students and family members of the Glenwood Elementary school in Vestal have teamed up with the Vestal CSD to created March Cereal Madness.

The event will benefit the Binghamton Food pantry

Both Students and the CSD Transportation Department will ask the community to help “Fill That Bus” with cereal to help make sure children have a healthy nutritious breakfast.

All Month the Fifth graders, and their families have been putting together donations of cereal to help our local food pantries.

This Wednesday March 31st from 4p to 6p. a school bus will be parked in the front lot of the Glenwood Elementary school, the public is invited to stop by during that time, and drop off cereal box donations.

You can stay in your vehicles, and the students will come to you and take your donations

The Glenwood Elementary is located at 337 Jones Road, Vestal, NY.

So please come out and help “Fill that Bus”
