The second day of the Insane Inflatable 5K was held today at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse.  Like Saturday the weather was superb with sunshine and temperatures in the upper 70's.  Over 1400 participants took part in today's session.  People of all ages took part and the total for the two day event was over 4,400.

The Insane Inflatable 5K is presented by Townsquare Media and consists of a number of rubberized inflatables that form an obstacle course for participants in a 5K length race.

Participants competed in waves or different groups with designated start times.  Some of the inflatables were 50 feet tall or higher.  The goal is not only based on timed performance but also with an added twist of negotiating over inflated obstacles located all around the course.  A portion of the proceeds go to benefit Samaritan Center helping needy individuals around the region.
