A group opposed to a gas transmission pipeline being developed along the Interstate 81 Corridor through Broome, Cortland and Onondaga counties is also offering advice for property owners who may actually want to enter into an agreement with the Millennium Pipeline Company for allowing the pipe to traverse their land.

Over 100 people attended a meeting in Homer hosted by the group, Stop the I81 Pipeline.

The group has accused the big energy company of sometimes intimidating property owners, threatening eminent domain or lower cash deals if residents don't act quickly.
