Two people are facing charges after members of the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force searched an Endicott Avenue, Johnson City apartment February 12.

Authorities say they found 3.5 grams of heroin, about 3.8 grams of crack cocaine, around 9.1 grams of powder cocaine, 43 knotted wraps of crack cocaine, several packets of heroin, material suspected to be ecstasy, methamphetamine, six ounces of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and $4,149 in suspected drug proceeds.

22 year old Alex Rodriguez is charged with six felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, two misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of marijuana and criminally using drug paraphernalia.

Police say they found Rodriguez was also wanted in New Jersey for a dangerous drugs offense.

A woman in the apartment was also arrested.

26 year old Lakia Leonard of the Bronx is charged with obstructing governmental administration.

She was sent to the Broome County Jail on $500 bail.

Rodriguez was jailed without bail.
