Thousands of people were "Greek for a day" this weekend.  The annual Grecian Festival is going til 6 PM today at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation, in Vestal. Visitors were treated to authentic Greek food, dance performances, jewelry and lots of fun.

Some of the delicious Greek specialties include spanakopita, gyros and souvlakis.  Moussaka was also a popular dinner special and today a lamb dinner was featured.

Steve Anastos is the chairman of the event and acted as the emcee for the dancing and entertainment segments featuring many youngsters decked-out in Greek costumes.

Just as popular as the eat-in dinners and refreshments were Greek pastries and desserts including "honey-puffs" which are the talk of the festival.
