The City of Binghamton and Security Mutual Life have teamed up for the 16th consecutive year to brighten Downtown Binghamton.  Approximately 150 hanging flower baskets have been added along Court Street and the Downtown area.

The hanging baskets are filled with red ivy geraniums and are hung from lamp posts to help decorate the City.  Security Mutual Life Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer Bruce W. Boyea said  "We are incredibly pleased to join the City in continuing this tradition.  We also give a well-deserved tip of the hat to the City of Binghamton workers who do such a great job at keeping the flowers flourishing all summer long."

Security Mutual Life is over 125 old and was founded in 1886.  The company employs more than 325 employees and continues to have its headquarters in the City of Binghamton.
