State police say an Endwell man was arrested following a disturbance outside a Watson Boulevard residence.

Authorities say 37-year-old Christopher Valentine was charged with third-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal mischief.

Troopers say Valentine was arrested early Tuesday morning.

Police had been called to investigate a reported dispute between a man and a woman.

Investigators say during the fight, Valentine allegedly threw the woman to the ground several times. They say he also is accused of breaking her phone by smashing it on the ground.

Valentine was issued appearance tickets for Union town court.
