41 year old Danielle Lefay pleaded guilty to criminally negligent homicide in October and was sentenced Friday.  The probation sentence takes into account the time Lefay has already served in jail.

Lefay’s roommates found the baby unresponsive on the morning of January 9 and called for an ambulance.  Medical crews were unable to resuscitate the infant.

Authorities say baby Vianna Lefay suffocated.
