Endicott Woman Charged In Beer Bottle Attack

Endicott police arrested a village woman for allegedly attacking her husband with a 40-ounce beer bottle.

Authorities say 47-year-old Christine Evans of South Liberty Avenue was charged with second-degree assault, a felony.

Investigators say police were called to the couple's home on a report of an early-morning domestic disturbance.

Police say the woman's 44-year-old husband sustained severe lacerations and head trauma when he was hit in the head with the big beer bottle.

The man was treated at a hospital and released.

Evans was arraigned in Endicott village court and sent to Broome County Jail without bail.
