Endicott Teen Charged With Burglary

Bob Joseph/WNBF News

An Endicott teen who had been told to stay away from a home on West Wendell Street in the village is accused of breaking into the house July 20 and assaulting a person inside.

Broome County Sheriff’s officials say 19 year old Patrick Olson is accused of bursting into the home through a back door and attacking a person.

Others in the house reportedly forced Olson out and called the authorities. Olson was found a short time later at a nearby park.

Officials say the person who was assaulted did not suffer serious injury.

Olson was charged with felony burglary and sent to the Broome County Jail without bail.
