Endicott Robbery Arrest

An Endicott man is accused of robbing a gas station in the Town of Union April 28.

New York State Police say they found 25 year old Derrick Smith hiding at a home on Columbia Drive in Endwell.

Information developed during the investigation, including tips from the public led authorities to Smith.

He’s accused of entering the Express Mart on Union Center Maine Highway at around 11 p.m., displaying a handgun and making off with cash.

Smith was arrested May 1 and sent to the Broome County Jail without bail.
