A dispute over property at a Broome County motel resulted in the arrest of an Endicott man.

Authorities say 21-year-old Alquan Williams was charged with criminal contempt. State police say Williams was arrested Thursday.

Troopers were called to an Endicott motel to investigate a reported dispute.

Police say they determined Williams was with a person who had a valid order of protection against him.

Williams was arraigned in Union town court. He was sent to Broome County Jail on $500 bail.
