An Endicott man is to go to federal prison for decades after pleading guilty to exploitation of a child, receiving child pornography and possession of child pornography.

58 year old Richard Squires admitted he produced and received pornography involving two girls during a guilty plea in Federal Court.

He faces up to 70 years in prison for all the counts.

Squires was arrested after one of the girls went to a school official and talked about the abuse.

He was investigated by the Endicott Police Department and confessed to authorities. Squires’ home was then searched bu Endicott Police and the FBI.

As part of his guilty plea, Squires admitted he had made images of his sexual exploitations with two girls in 2014 and received child pornography at his home.

He was arrested in April, 2017.

Sentencing is set for December.
