Endicott Man Accused of Stealing a Friend’s Car

An Endicott man is being held in the Broome County Jail without bail after allegedly fighting with a woman who had been giving him a ride home and stealing her car.

Broome County Sheriff’s officials say the woman called 911 while standing on Lower Stella Ireland Road in the Town of Dickinson shortly after 5:30 a.m. on December 28.

She told authorities she had gone to give a ride to a friend who was drunk and they began to fight inside the vehicle.

25 year old Daunte Reynolds is accused of dragging the woman from her vehicle and leaving in her car.

Reynolds was found in the vehicle on Lincoln Avenue in the Village of Endicott and taken into custody after a brief struggle.

He’s charged with felony robbery, criminal mischief and resisting arrest.

The woman was not seriously hurt.
