Endicott Man Accused of Injuring Youth
Police say an Endicott resident faces charges after a teenager was struck during a fight in the Town of Maine.
Authorities say 37-year-old Jason Lord was arrested around 6:40 p.m. Monday.
According to state police, troopers were sent to a home on Lewis Street in Maine for a reported disturbance.
Investigators determined that Lord struck the youth in the face several times, causing a contusion. Police say the injured person was under the age of 17.
Lord was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor. He also was charged with second-degree harassment.
Lord was arraigned in Maine town court and released after an order of protection was issued against him. Police said his next court date is pending.
Police did not indicate whether the youth required medical attention for the injury.
