Another drug trafficker is heading to prison.  26 year old Rashawn Cauthen was a member of the Eddie Block Gang and pleaded guilty to felony drug trafficking and possession of a firearm in connection with drug trafficking.

He was sentenced to ten years in federal prison for drug trafficking and a little over three years on the weapon charge.

Prosecutors say from January 2014 to November 2015, Cauthen was believed to have sold crack cocaine every week in Broome County, including to an informant who told authorities he saw a .22 caliber revolver in the waistband of Cauthen’s pants during the drug deal.

Cauthen and eight others were arrested following an investigation that lasted over a year into drug activities in Binghamton and Endicott.
