New York State Police say they had some help from a motorist on Interstate 81 in Broome county in apprehending a woman accused of driving with a blood alcohol level at more than twice the legal limit.

Troopers say they received a report of an erratic driver Sunday on I81 North and that the car had pulled into the Gateway Visitors Center, just north of the Pennsylvania border.

Authorities say the caller blocked the car in with his vehicle until authorities arrived and arrested 31 year old Lisa Pastella of Townson, Maryland.

State Police say they measured Pastella's blood alcohol level at .19%.

She's been issued a ticket to appear in Kirkwood Town Court in August.
