Three people are being held in connection with an incident on  Pat Farley Road in the Town of New Berlin on January 25 in which a man reported being robbed at gunpoint. 

Chenango County Sheriff’s officials say at around 3 a.m. a man said he was in the backseat of a vehicle when a man approached the vehicle and pointed a shotgun in his face demanding money. 

The victim threw cash out the window then a woman pointed a handgun at him and demanded more money.

The victim was able to flee and call 911.

Sheriff’s Deputies located three suspects nearby, recovered several hundred dollars on the road and determined the woman’s handgun was a BB gun

37 year old Raymond Sittery Junior and 18 year old Lacey-Jane Zinkhan, both of the Town of Norwich and 26 year old Marissa DeForest, who is homeless, are all charged with felony robbery.

Officials say the investigation is continuing and suspect the incident was drug related.
