Drugs Confiscated From Endwell Motel

Two Binghamton men are accused of having drugs at a room in an Endwell motel.

The Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force searched a room at the North Street Motor Lodge and recovered a loaded Cobra 280 handgun, 167 bags of heroin, unpackaged heroin in a foil container, a knotted plastic wrap containing powder cocaine, packaging material, a digital scale and $567 from suspected drug deals.

30 year old Jason Lopez is charged with felony weapon possession, 2 felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and rape as well as misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminally using drug paraphernalia.

23 year old Rayshawn Torres is charged with felony drug possession.

Both were sent to the Broome County Jail without bail.
