An Endicott man is charged with felony drunk driving after authorities say they caught him doing donuts on Skye Island Drive at 12:51 a.m. March 23.

Broome County Sheriff’s officials say a patrol was traveling west on East Franklin Street in the Village of Endicott when a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction was clocked doing 60 miles an hour in the 30 mile an hour zone.

The Deputy says the vehicle was found doing donuts on Skye Island Drive near the driver’s home.

Officials say 30 year old John Kocik showed signs of intoxication and was taken into custody.

Officials say they also found Kocik was driving with a revoked license.

Kocik is charged with felony DWI for having a previous conviction within the last ten years, felony driving without a license, speeding, a lane infraction, refusal to take a breath test and operating a vehicle without a required ignition interlock device.

He was sent to the Broome County Jail without bail.
