Driver Charged After Town Of Maine Crash

A 35-year-old Johnson City man was arrested after a one-car crash in the town of Maine.

Authorities say Ronnie Weese of New York Avenue was charged with driving while intoxicated and aggravated DWI.

According to the Broome County Sheriff's Office, Weese was charged with marijuana possession. He also was issued several vehicle and traffic tickets.

Investigators say the crash happened around 6:15 Sunday evening on Oakdale Road near Town Line Road.

Police say Weese's blood alcohol content was measured at more than twice the legal limit.

Weese was issued appearance tickets for Maine town court.
