Donations Being Collected to Feed Southern Tier Hungry

The non-profit organization Feed My Starving Children is partnering with Southern Tier MobilePack and plans to make a difference by feeding thousands around the Southern Tier and abroad. Members of the Southern Tier community can support this initiative by donating to the organization up to September 1^st.

Each meal costs $0.22 to prepare so to reach this goal they need $20 from 1000 people. Donations can be given immediately and volunteer registration will be available in mid-September. This year from November 3^rd to 4^th 500 volunteers will be giving their time to prepare and package meals for people in need.

Since 1987 Feed My Starving Children has been fighting world hunger by sending volunteer-packed nutritious meals to 70 different countries across the world. Last year alone, 1 million volunteers for the organization packed nearly 273 million meals.
