The non-profit organization Feed My Starving Children is partnering with Southern Tier MobilePack and plans to make a difference by feeding thousands around the Southern Tier and abroad. Members of the Southern Tier community can support this initiative by donating to the organization up to September 1st.

Each meal costs $0.22 to prepare so to reach this goal they need $20 from 1000 people. Donations can be given immediately and volunteer registration will be available in mid-September. This year from November 3rd to 4th 500 volunteers will be giving their time to prepare and package meals for people in need.

Since 1987 Feed My Starving Children has been fighting world hunger by sending volunteer-packed nutritious meals to 70 different countries across the world. Last year alone, 1 million volunteers for the organization packed nearly 273 million meals.
