Deposit Man is Hurt in House Fire

A Deposit man is being treated for burns after fire broke out at his Elm Street property shortly after 9 a.m. March 16.

Officials say a family of eight lived in the house.

Firefighters had to deal with strong winds fanning the flames.  Four departments were dispatched to the scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

The condition of the homeowner was not available.
