Delaware County Toddler Dies Following Fall From Window

The Delaware County District Attorney is investigating the death of an 18 month old girl who fell from an open 2nd floor window shortly after 1:30 p.m. September 17th.

New York State Police say Andie Lynn Johnson suffered fatal injuries in the fall at her home on Read Street in Hancock.

The child was airlifted to Albany Medical Center.

According to a facebook page set up by the family Andie Lynn passed away September 21st.

An autopsy has ruled the death was the result of cardiopulmonary arrest due to severe head trauma and the manner of death is ruled accidental.

No charges have been filed at this time.
