An Arkville, New York man is accused of causing a ruckus near the Delaware County fairgrounds and injuring a staff member at a nearby hospital on the Fourth of July.

Sheriff's officials say 20 year old Timothy Reiche is charged with felony assault, misdemeanor criminal mischief and a violation count of disorderly conduct. Officials say the charges stem from a report that Reiche was highly intoxicated and agitated at a location in Margaretville. A witness said Reiche was seen punching a parked truck, causing damage.

He was taken to a hospital where staff said he fought with them and caused injury to one person.

Reiche was sent to the Delaware County Jail on $2,000 bail.
