On January 12, 2024, Delaware County District Attorney Shawn J. Smith announced indictments on several charges for Deirdre Vincent and Dennis Fickeria, both from Margaretville, New York.

Vincent was indicted by a Delaware County Grand Jury of 14 felony charges and 23 misdemeanor charges and Fickeria was indicted for 15 felony charges and 23 misdemeanor charges both for incidents that occurred on January 3, 2024.

Count One of the Indictment charges the defendant with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the First Degree, a Class B violent felony. The defendant is alleged to have possessed multiple loaded pistols and assault rifles. This is the most serious count of the indictment, and the defendant faces up to 25 years in state prison if she is convicted of this charge.

Deirdre Vincent was also indicted for two Counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree. She is alleged to have possessed two firearms that were defaced, to conceal them.

Vincent was also accused of Criminal Possession of an Undetectable Firearm, Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fourth Degree, two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, and one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fourth Degree.

She is alleged to have possessed separate quantities of fentanyl, methamphetamine, and cocaine with the intention of selling them. If convicted, Vincent could face up to 12 years in state prison.

Dennis Fickeria is charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the First Degree, a Class B violent felony, two Counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree, Criminal Possession of an Undetectable Firearm,  Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property and  Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Fickeria, a convicted felon, is alleged to have possessed multiple loaded pistols and assault rifles. He also faces up to 25 years in state prison if convicted of this charge. Fickeria is also alleged to have possessed separate quantities of fentanyl, methamphetamine, and cocaine with the intention of selling them.
