Deer Hits Motorcycle in Homer

Cortland County Sheriff's officials say a motorcyclist is being treated for injuries after a deer jumped into the path of the vehicle at around 2 p.m. June 14 on State Route 281 in Homer.

The driver was ejected from the bike and was taken to Upstate University Medical Center in Syracuse for treatment.

The name and condition of the driver has not been released.
