The Cuomo administration is promising tens of millions of dollars to go toward repairs and infrastructure improvements at dozens of state parks and historic sites in New York State.

Over the weekend, reports in the media indicated around $90 million would be dedicated to fixing potential health and safety problems and make infrastructure upgrades in up to 90 projects.

Planning is also to get underway on 60 more projects to be undertaken in future years.

New York State has 179 state parks and historic sites.
